8:30pm: $15; 10:15pm: $10 & 12am: FreeRecently returned to Montreal after an 11 year stay in Rome, Italy, Ron has in the past performed with such greats as Steve Grossman, Dave Liebman, Billy Cobham, Cirus Chestnut, Pat Labarbera, Tony Scott, Dewey Redman, Sonny Greenwich, Rakalam Bob Moses, Famoudou Don Moye... Fred Henke has been living in New York city for the past 20 years. Fred has a long and impressive CV for having performed in Canada, the US and Europe. Greg Ritchie, the youngest member of the group is now living in Montreal after having spent 10 years living in New York. He is of the young generation of musicians who has made a name for himself with some of the top players in New York city. The groups repertoire will consist of mostly original music composed by Ron and some rearanged modern standards. Ron and Fred’s partnership began in the late 80’s and 90’s having performed with the great Sonny Greenwich for 5 years and having recorded numerous albums with him and a tour in Europe with Saxophonist Steve Grossman.
